Obsessive spot collector, architecture geek and skateboard enthusiasts.
He’s been around for a long time in Tokyo, but he’s still hungry!
As one of the first people I met in Japan, he was an introduction to many aspects of Japanese culture including the importance of perfectionism and working hard. His bushido spirit has obviously helped push his photography to new levels but I feel that his real strong point is a deep artistic understanding of fact that ‘sometime shit is good’ as in ‘perfect isn’t always best’.
This is possibly why we get on well and have shot so many skate photos together.

執拗なスポットコレクター、建築オタク、スケートボード好き。
東京に長く住んでいるが、まだまだハングリー精神旺盛!
日本で初めて会った人の一人として、彼は日本文化の多くの側面を紹介してくれた。
彼の武士道精神は明らかに彼の写真を新しいレベルに押し上げるのに役立っているが、私は彼の本当の強みは、「完璧なものが必ずしも最高とは限らない」というように、「たまにはクソもいいものだ」という事実を芸術的に深く理解していることだと感じている。
だからこそ、私たちは意気投合し、多くのスケート写真を一緒に撮ってきたのかもしれない。
